INTRODUCTION
The Simmer Style heritage runs deep in this wave sail. This is the modern day version of the same sail that dedicated wave sailors and Simmer Style founders Klaus and Malte Simmer used to tear up Ho’okipa Beach Park with back in the day. We’ve constantly refined this sail over the years to make it the best wave sail around whether it was 1981 with tie-on booms at Ho’okipa or its 2010 with carbon masts and quad fins.

CONSTRUCTION - High Aspect Ratio, longer mast shorter boom. Gives fingertip handling with more front-end power located higher in the sail body. - Horizontal shape on the lower two battens for constant sail profile, combined with vertical shape on the three higher battens for a “bladey” - type feel. - X-Ply upper in body for maximun durabilty. - Monofilm central body paneling gives a crisp and direct feel. - Symmetric batten pockets. A major technical advancement in sail design. Creating a perfect aerodynamic symmetry on both tacks of the sails. - Kevlar stretch control tendons, increase the sails wind range, durability and allow for more controled power.
